Getting Started with Nabbo

Welcome to Nabbo! This guide will walk you through setting up your household and capturing your first item.
Create Your Household
When you first open Nabbo, you’ll be asked to create your household. This involves:
- Name your household — give it a name (e.g. “The Smiths” or “Home”)
- Set your timezone — so deadlines and reminders arrive at the right time
- Set your location — helps with weather and local context
Add Family Members
Navigate to Settings → Family Members to add the people in your household:
- Tap Add Member and enter their name
- Assign a role (parent, child, other)
- Each member gets an auto-assigned colour (you can change it later)
- Optionally add a photo
Nabbo uses family members to assign items to the right person when extracting from messages.
Capture Your First Item
There are three ways to get information into Nabbo:
Share from another app
Open any message, email, or screenshot in another app, tap Share, and select Nabbo. The AI will extract the key actions automatically.
Forward an email
In Settings, you’ll find your household’s unique Nabbo email address. Forward any email to it — school newsletters, booking confirmations, payment reminders — and Nabbo will read and extract the details.
Speak it
Tap the microphone button and speak naturally: “Ella has swimming on Tuesday at 4pm, bring goggles and towel.” Nabbo will create the structured item for you.
Review & Approve
After capturing, Nabbo’s AI extracts the important details and presents them for your review. Tap Approve to confirm, or Edit to adjust anything before it joins your family plan.
